Yelena was named the Female Athlete of the Year by the IAFF in 2004, 2005 and 2008.

Isinbayeva became the first women to clear the 25 metre barrier in 2005.




Yelena holds two world records, 5.06 m outdoors and 5.0 m indoors.  She set the indoor record in 2009.

Yelean also is a two time Olympic gold medalist - 2004 in Athens and 2008 in Beijing - a five time World Champion and is widely considered the greatest female pole-vaulter of all time.




Isinbayeva has set 27 pole-vault world records.
