Michelle has been a karate student since she was 10 years old and holds a Black Belt in American Free Style Karate.

Waterson made her MMA debut at the Ring of Fire 28 in February 2007 and won her fight by unanimous decision.


Waterson has a current MMA record of 9-3.  Her wins include 2 by knockout, 6 by submission and 1 by decision.



Michelle gave birth to her daughter Araya on March 18, 2011 and then got back into the ring nine months later on January 21, 2012 at Jackson's MMA Series VII in Albuquerque NM where she defeated Diana "Dynamite" Rael with a rear-naked choke in the first round.
