Vanda competed as an artistic gymnast from 1990 through 1993 and won a silver medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
Hadarean also earned two bronze medals in gymnastics, one at the 1991 World Championships and one at the 1992 European Championships.
Vanda is a four time Ms. Fitness World (2008-2011) and a four time Ms. Fitness Canada (2006-2009).
Hadarean made her debut into fitness competitions came in 2005 by winning the Ms. Fitness Canada title and finishing fourth at the Ms. Fitness World event.
Vanda has appeared on the cover of Ms. Fitness Magazine in 2008, Oxygen in 2009 and Serious about Fitness in 2005 and 2008.
Hadarean also provides consultation services to gymnasts and fitness competitors under the brand name of "Inspired by Vanda".
