The only way she could compete was to get a recommendation from the Kuwaiti national federation and unfortunately due to traditional Arab beliefs, women are not allowed to compete in any bodybuilding competitions and was denied by Kuwait. In 2002 the NPC and IFBB presidents granted Dina her IFBB Pro card.
