Blanka Vlasic is this Tuesday's pick as one of the most beautiful women in sports.  Blanka is 6'4" tall....

Born November 8th, 1983 in Split, Socialist Republic of Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia, now Croatia.




Olympic High Jumper




Blanka's mother and father were both excellent athletes.  Her mother Venera played amateur basketball and was a cross country skier and her father Josko broke the Croatian record in the decathlon.




Vlasic won her first World Championship in 2007 jumping 2.05 m in Osaka, Japan.  Blanka also took home Gold Medals at the World Athletics Final in Stutgart, Germany and the World Indoor Championships in Valencia, Spain.




In Olympic competition Blanka finished 11th at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece and earned the Silver Medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.




Two more Gold medals for Vlasic in 2010, one at the World Indoor Championships in Doha, Qatar and one at the European Championships in Barcelona, Spain.




In 2011 Blanka finished with the Silver Medal at the World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.
