In Grand Slam events Li has one title in 2011 defeating Francesca Schiavone at the French Open. Na was also the runner up at the 2011 Australian Open.
At the 2012 Sony Ericsson Open Na lost in the quarterfinals to Maria Sharapova.
Li Na also has won four gold medals while competing for China. One in singles, one in doubles, one in mixed doubles and one in team.
