Rochelle started cycling professionally in 2003 with team Ausra Groudis Safi


In 2010 Gilmore won the gold medal in the 112 km Road Bicycle racing event at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi


 


Rochelle earned three first place finishes in 2011 at the Jayco Bay Classic (VIC), winning Stage 1 and 3 and placing first overall


Gilmore's career also boasts two-time World Track Championships silver medals, along with silver medals twice at the Commonwealth Games


Rochelle is currently the owner and manager of the Wiggle-Honda team.
