Jeanette currently holds the Danish record in the 100 m freestyle.

In 2011 Ottesen earned four gold medals, three at the European Championships and one at the World Championships in Shanghai.  Jeanette's World Championship gold medal came in the 100 m freestyle.




Jeanette had also won a gold medal at the European Championships in the 100 m butterfly in 2008.




Ottesen has participated in the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics.




Jeanette set a personal best record in the 50 m butterfly in April, 2012 in Rio, Brasilien.
