At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing China Kand finished 33rd in the Heptathlon.  Kaie also finished 11th at the IAAF World Championships in Osaka in 2007.

Kaie's personal best score in the Heptathlon is 5979 points acheived in May of 2009 in Gotzis.
