Sydney won the gold medal with the United States at the 2012 London Olympics.

Leroux currently (2014) plays forward for the Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League.  She was traded to the Reign on November 18, 2013.


Sydney was a first round pick by the Atlanta Beat in the 2012 WPS Draft.


In 2013 Leroux was allocated to the Boston Breakers for their inaugural season in the National Women's Soccer League.
