Hanka won the gold medal at the 2007 UCI Road World Championships Women's Time Trial hosted in Stuttgart, Germany.

Kaufernagel earned a silver medal at the 2009 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Hoogerheide, North Brabant, Netherlands.




Hanka is a three time UCI Cyclo-cross World Champion, 2001, 2005 and 2008.

Kaufernagel currently rides with RusVelo, a professional road and track cycling team, founded in 2011 and a part of the Russian Global Cycling Project.




Hanka posed for the 2011 Cyclepassion calendar and is featured in February.




Kaufernagel won a silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney Australia in the Women's Road Race, Individual with team Germany.
