Dominika turned professional in 2005 after playing one ITF event in Prague at the end of 2004.

Cibulkova won her first WTA title in 2011, the Kremlin Cup, defeating Kaia Kaneip and her win represents the first time a player has won their maiden cup title at the Kremlin Cup.




The biggest upset of Dominika's career came in 2011 where she beat #1 ranked Caroline Wozniacki at the Medibank International Sydney.




Dominika is currently ranked #16 in singles with the WTA.
