Amber and Angela made NASCAR history on October 23, 2010 by being the first twins to compete in one of the top three NASCAR series. The Cope twins made their debut in the Camping World Truck Series in Martinsville, VA.
In 2011 Angela finished in 55th place at the NASCAR Nationwide Series John Deere Dealers 250 in Newton Iowa.
On July 14, 2012 at a Nationwide Series race in New Hampshire, Amber was involved in an incident with Kevin Harvick when she forced Harvick down the track slowing his momentum and giving the win to Brad Keselowski.
In 2006 both Angela and Amber split time behind the wheel at the ARCA Re/Max Series at Berlin, Gateway, Chicagoland, Milwaukee Mile, and Toledo.
Angela took first place in the 2002 Lucas Oil Can-Am 150 at Sun Valley Speedway.
Amber finished third and Angela finished first at the Tri-Cities Gold Cup "Yamaha Class" in 1995.
